Lessons in life aren’t ones we can learn in a classroom or from a Youtube video. They are only to be experienced, embraced, and extended into every area of our lives. Over the past 30 years, here are the moments that stick out to me the loudest.
- The greatest gift in life is to look in the mirror and respect what you see.
- The only person who can take away your anointing is you.
- Anyone can create glitter, it takes true heart to go after gold.
- It’s not about what you’re doing, it’s about who you’re becoming.
- Music fixes everything.
- Media is the language of culture.
- If excellence is all you produce, it’s all you’ll ever be known for.
- Ministry is a marathon; pace yourself.
- Your purpose for life is found right past your passion in life.
- What frustrates you the most is probably what you are called to correct.
- Leadership isn’t about what you build, but rather who you build.
- Character is an agreement with your future you.
- Faith is fuel for the unknown, the impossible, and the assignment you have no idea how to complete.
- Find people who believe in you first; it’ll help them believe in your vision after. #teams
- Wisdom always wins.
- Imitating people is harder than just being yourself.
- Custom callings require custom systems.
- Delayed obedience is disobedience.
- Common order brings uncommon Glory.
- There will never be any “system” that can manifest the true power of God.
- The Holy Spirit knows everything, and the Holy Spirit is always right.
- Power is found in the place of prayer.
- In the end, the vision must win.
- Your health is a part of your harvest, do your part.
- Details go. Destiny stays.
- Moments become movements and leaders keep the momentum.
- If nothing changes, nothing changes. (…and anything can change.)
- The mission gets you excited for today. The vision keeps you excited for tomorrow.
- Listen to people. Learn from experience. Lead by action from the level of vision.
- Enjoy the journey and don’t get tired of the view.
